Since early 1997 I have been committed to the practice of morning journaling; stream of conscious writing that evolved into daily meditation. The inspirations below are taken from those journals as I continue to seek and acknowledge the source of serenity in my life.

I have no worries today. My life is in God's hands.
It is not where I live, but how I live.
True inspiration is the flow of God's love through me, unblocked by
intellectual analysis.
When my purpose is to demonstrate God's love in my life, I cannot be
wrong or not good enough.
Surrender to the spirit is not giving up, but opening up to all the possibilities.
Faith flows with passion and power as a river during the Spring thaw;
moved only by God's hand.
My joy is not in making others happy, but in being happy so others can see.
I have often let myself believe that I have a better excuse for drinking than
others because hearing loss separates us from people. But in the final
analysis there is no "better excuse", alcoholism is a disease.
Sometimes even love isn't enough and we have to let go.
Pride blocks me from love and love is all there is.
No matter how I will it to be so, I cannot straighten the curves in the road.
Holding onto resentments robs me of precious energy I need to achieve
my dreams.
If I want peace of mind, I need to forgive.
God is anything and everything we want him to be - He is perfection.
Self care is as vital to our spiritual well being as being of service to God and
our fellows. You can't do one without the other.
Things appear overwhelming from a distance. Once begun, they become
accomplishments.
I approach huge tasks with the power of a bulldozer, but the fineness of an
artist.
Patience, Patience.
If I am doing good things with my life, all my needs will be met.
In the light of God's love all chores become adventures.
Each person who comes into our lives gives us more knowledge about
ourselves.
New beginnings are so exciting and they happen every time I wake up in
the morning.
Just as I seek to glow with Your love, let me bask in the glow of others.
It is relationships with people that ensure our spiritual growth, not
geography.
Creative action can be my best friend anytime I feel like I need someone
to 'play with.'
